This week, I have decided to further look into my project topic focused around public relations (my major). This focus can be taken many different ways, because PR focuses on reputation management, crisis communication, technology, communication and so much more. As I looked through the many stories given to us, I have found three possible stories that I think could fit my topic best. PR incorporates various different subjects. As a PR major, my job will likely include social media. This made me interested in incorporating technology and the media into stories without these things. As suggested by Ms. Gibbs, the Queen of Hearts could hire a PR agency, any of the wonderland characters could use a PR consultant or I could do a PR-take on Alice herself. Topic Ideas Topic #1: Fairy Tale Princesses This topic interested me because of a specific storybook called " The Princess and Her Parties " that I found from a previous student. I studied abroad in London, England last summer, and on the home page of this storybook is the Windsor Castle . I toured the Windsor Castle while I was there, so it'd be super fun to act as if I was the queen of the castle using the pictures I took there last summer. I know a little about the history of the castle and the queen's life, and I know even more about what it looked like (and I have some pictures that I wasn't supposed to take... oops!)
